The Woods Event Center is owned by Koert & Sarah Mehler. This venue has been meticulously crafted from the ground up to offer our guests an elegant space for their event.

Koert, who is a Crawford County native, specializes in banking at First Robinson Savings Bank. Sarah manages the daily operations at The Woods and ensures that all clients are accommodated.

Sarah and Koert met while attending Indiana State University in 2017 and quickly began dating. After graduation, they moved back to Crawford County to begin their lives together. The couple married in October of 2020 and they began plans to fulfill their dream.

The Mehler’s purchased The Woods property in February 2021 and planned to create a magnificent event space “where people come together”.
